Q: Are bluerub products vegan?
A: Our CHAFE and CHAMOIS use beeswax. All other products are vegan, using plant-based, natural, organic, and naturally derived ingredients.

Q: Are bluerub products okay for my kids?

A: Yes. But we do not recommend using CHILL or MUSCLE on kids under 3 as essential oils are not recommended for little ones. And on kids under 10, we suggest you do a small test as kids can be sensitive.

Q: Why don’t you sell your own sunscreen?

A: We love Stream2Sea products and trust their research and testing. Their products are all reef safe and won’t hurt coral reefs or oceans and they take care of your skin. So we didn’t see a need to reinvent the wheel. And we’re happy to support their efforts.

Q: Are bluerub products safe for my clothing?

A: Yes, but … while we have tested our products on many items of sportswear, we can’t guarantee that there isn’t some piece of material out there that will react poorly. So we recommend you test on a small patch if that’s a concern. Our products wash out with warm soapy water.


Q: Are bluerub products cruelty free? 

A: Yes. We are proudly certified by Leaping Bunny. This means all the ingredients in our products are also cruelty free and never tested on animals.

Q: Can I return a bluerub product?
A: In short, yes. Most people love our products, but if they aren’t working for you, just send us an email at info@bluerub.com. Read about our return policy here.

Q:  Can I cancel or modify my order?
A: Maybe. We want you to get what you want, but we try to ship out orders the same or next day we get them. If your order is already boxed and at the shippers, we can’t make changes. We can place an additional order for you. If your order hasn’t been processed, we can make any changes you need. You can email us at info@bluerub.com


Q: Can I buy bluerub products at a local sports, running or cycling store?
A: Yes. You can find a list of our retailers here. If your favorite store isn’t on here, you can always order from our website.
